TWO PARK RANGERS KILLED

Tuesday, July 25, 2006

Vancouver, WA - Two park rangers involved in the search for the missing hikers in Lake Vancouver Park were attacked last night and brutally killed. One ranger discharged his firearm during the attack, alerting nearby searchers, but they did not arrive in time to assist. The victims were literally torn limb from limb in a matter of seconds.

It appears to be the same attacker that has been responsible for several killings in the area over the past week. Residents are strongly encouraged to evacuate the area, and an 8:00 PM curfew has been set for all areas within one mile of the lake.
